Rocks ‘n Ramblings:
On the first Friday of the month at 4:00 pm, you’re invited to drop by the SEG office at #102 – 3423 Fulton Ave in Smithers (turn off Highway 16 at Smithers Lumber Yard exit. Fulton runs parallel to Hwy 16 one block back.). Bring a rock and/or your thoughts on the incredible geology of northern BC.
SEG’s Annual Smithers Golf Tournament:
The 2010 SEG Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, September 17th at the Smithers Golf and Country Club. Download Poster

Prince George North 2010 was a great success. The 2011 Conference will be held in Stewart, April 20-22. Mining Week 2010 :
SEG’s most recent event was the May 14 Mining Week 2010 luncheon in partnership with the Smithers District Chamber of Commerce. A sell-out crowd of more than 100 people celebrated the minerals industry in the northwest. Keynote speakers were Pierre Gratton President and CEO of the Mining Association of BC and Byng Giraud Vice President of Corporate Affairs with Imperial Metals.
