Rock Talk:
Every February Smithers Exploration Group hosts Rock Talk, a three-day combination of socializing and presentations in Smithers. Day One includes an education workshop. Day Two focuses on geological talks and displays. Day Three is a ski day at Hudson Bay Mountain. Rock Talk 2010 will take place February 8, 9, and 10, 2010, in Smithers, at the Smithers Curling Club (4216 4th Avenue). The education day on Monday will be a workshop by GeoScience BC. Registration for the presentations is $25.00. A limited number of booths or table space will be available for $50.00.
